| In my portrait work, I
portray the natural language of my subject and encourage
them to be themselves. To capture some aspect of the
subject’s unique presence is true portrait work. It is
one thing to copy what one sees, but it is quite another
to see beyond what is in front of one and translate that

THE PROCESS OF CREATING A PORTRAIT To create a portrait, I work from photographs. I can work from a photograph of good quality that you provide or I will come and shoot digital photos of the subject or subjects. The setting can be of your choosing, whether it be a candid or formal setting. Together we will choose the photograph that best captures the subject in pose and expression. x 20" - $300.00 14"
x 11" - $100.00 A deposit of 30% is due in advance, with balance due upon completion of the commission. Commissions may be paid with installments. Framing, crating, shipping, and out of town travel expenses are not included in fees. I would be more than happy to provide any of those services at cost.
