Pet Portraits

In my portrait work, I portray the natural language of your pet and aim to depict their unique personality. To capture some aspect of the subject’s unique presence is true portrait work. It is one thing for an artist to simply copy an image, but it is quite another to see beyond the surface and translate that presence onto canvas.

I work in oil paint on canvas.

To create a portrait, I work from photographs. I can work from a photograph of good quality that you provide or I will shoot digital photos of the subject or subjects. Together we will choose the photograph that best captures your pet in pose and expression.

PRICING SCHEDULE

Please contact me to inquire about larger canvas sizes and prices..

16" x 20" - $200.00
$100 for each additional pet

14" x 11" - $150.00
$50.00 for additional small pet

A deposit of 30% is due in advance, with balance due upon completion of the commission.

Commissions may be paid with installments.

Framing, crating, shipping, and out of town travel expenses are not included in fees, although these services are available at cost.
