| "Art
is not a matter of what you can see, but what you can make others
see." - Edgar Degas
My own journey, both physical and spiritual, are primary sources of inspiration for me as an artist. Pain, disappointment, joy, love and every other human life feeling drives me to create. And this experience is how God comes and reveals Himself to us. The most wonderful opportunity for me as an artist is the chance to create more than a copy of what I see. Anyone can learn to copy what they see. But to have the chance to bring into reality images in my mind without limitation and to create a surreal sense of time, place and feeling gives me tremendous artistic peace and satisfaction. - Tracey Clarke |
